I am overjoyed I will be working on my last website content project today and Monday. On November 15, 2018, I will be in business for 5 years. I have worked my tail off to get here. As I reflect on the almost 5 years, it’s emotional, filled with joy, fear, surprise, delight, and ALL levels of highs and lows. I’ve been riding the entrepreneur roller-coaster track, and there are days, fortunately only a few, I have been completely off the track. I hear it’s the customary ride of a business owner, which means I am not alone.

Ghost Writing & Developmental Editing are My Gifts for the World

On Tuesday, October 23, 2018, I will become a full-time ghost writer partnering with my clients to write their non-fiction books either as their developmental editor or their ghost writer.

There have been many models to my business over the last 5 years, all including professional writing skills. I’ve arrived here, where I’m meant to be by learning so much and by working in so many areas with many people who have taught me, led me and held my hand along the way; “SO” much for which to be grateful.

A Grateful Business Owner

November will be the month of gratitude where each person who has helped me arrive here will be recognized. I am forever grateful for each of you, whether we work or worked together, you educated me, you were a hired adviser, a cheerleader, a vendor, a team partner, my subcontractor, in my network or mastermind groups, a friend, a colleague, a relative, my incredible immediate family or you simply believe in me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for whichever role you have played. <3

Thank you, God, for leading me here, to this moment, my purpose, which you clearly tell me is to find the extreme value offered by my authors and write their stories to help the people, thereby the world, become a better place, one author and one reader at a time. I pray you lead me to do your will through the amazing people you lead to me. Amen.

A message to all my fellow passengers on this entrepreneur roller-coaster:

If it’s your passion, you love it, and you see the light of possibility at the end of the tunnel, keep riding. Stay nimble, be willing to learn, to listen to those who came before you, hire the help you need, and keep riding one hill at a time. If there is no light, it’s okay to jump on the next ride. Either way, be sure it’s not life-sucking, that it is life-giving, it supports your values and desire for life and it fills your soul. Ride on. Raise your hands. Scream out loud. Breathe. Be fulfilled.
